โฆ Synopsis
In this paper we prove that for a prime p 5 and n 2, if p h(Q( p ), then G p n (Q) is not a subgroup of K 2 (Q), which partially verifies a conjecture of J. Browkin.

The paper classifies (up to isomorphism) those groups of prime power order whose derived subgroups have prime order.
We describe in some detail an algorithm which is an important ingredient in the performance of programs for working with descriptions of groups of prime-power order. It is an algorithm for computing a useful power-commutator presentation for the pcovering group of a group given by a power-commutator
