โฆ Synopsis
We describe in some detail an algorithm which is an important ingredient in the performance of programs for working with descriptions of groups of prime-power order. It is an algorithm for computing a useful power-commutator presentation for the pcovering group of a group given by a power-commutator presentation. We prove that the algorithm is correct and give some examples.

In this paper we prove that for a prime p 5 and n 2, if p h(Q( p ), then G p n (Q) is not a subgroup of K 2 (Q), which partially verifies a conjecture of J. Browkin.
