โฆ Synopsis
The near U.V. absorption spectrum of rlmethylindole has been recorded. The observed s trum lying in the region i, 2960-2600 A has been identitki as a R* + n transition, analogous to the 12850 Iec system of indole. A vibrational analysis has been proposed for the band system.
