## Abstract We found current injection‐stimulated electron emission from n‐type diamond (001) surfaces with negative electron affinity (NEA) and band conduction, while no emission was observed from heavily phosphorous‐doped n^+^‐type diamond (111) surfaces with NEA and hopping conduction even thoug

## Abstract We found clear improvement in electron emission performances in low injection region of hydrogenated diamond __p__–__i__–__n__ junction diodes with heavily phosphorous‐doped (P‐doped) __n__^+^ “top” layer, where the “top” layer faced to a collector electrode. The emission started just b
