AES analysis of protective anodic oxide
✍ R.D.K. Misra πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1986 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 306 KB

Anodic oxide films formed on Ni and Ni-Cu alloys in a solution of 1.0 MKOH have been analysed by Auger electron spectroscopy. The results indicate that the oxide film formed is predominantly nickel oxide even when the Cu content in the alloy is 70 %, suggesting that Cu in the alloy does not affect t

Determination of stresses in thermal oxi
✍ P. Poole; L.L. Shreir πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1968 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 520 KB

The magnitude of the stress in thin oxide lilms on Cu and Fe has been determined using a sensitive stressometer and measuring the relaxation of stress during electrometric reduction of the oxide. The method has the advantage that both the stress and thickness of oxide can be measured simultaneously.

Photoacoustic study on cathodic reductio

An in-situ photoacoustic (PAS) technique, using a piezoelectric detector with high sensitivity was applied to the study on duplex oxide films anodically formed on copper in pH 8.4 borate solution. The PAS signals from the copper electrode were produced by an irradiation of light beam with a waveleng
