✦ Synopsis
Abstract
An economical electronically‐scanned patch antenna array with quasi‐hemispheric coverage is under design in our laboratory for Inmarsat satellite communications. This paper reports the CAD simulation and test results of a simple‐structured, electromagnetically‐coupled patch antenna with circular polarization, for such array applications. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
