โฆ Synopsis
Electrochemical investigation of the interaction of vitamin K 3 (VK 3 ) with hemoglobin (Hb) on a Hg electrode is reported for the ยฎrst time. With the addition of hemoglobin in vitamin K 3 solution, both the reduction and oxidation currents decrease but with no change of peak potentials. The reaction of vitamin K 3 with hemoglobin forms a kind of nonelectrochemical active supramolecular complex HbยฑVK 3 . The equilibrium constant for complex is calculated as 3.75610 4 . A satisfactory result has been obtained for the determination of hemoglobin in clinical blood samples.

Erythrocytes from trout Salmo irideus are characterized by four different hemoglobin components (HbI, HbII, HbIII and HbIV), HbI and HbIV being predominant. In this study we describe the interaction between trout hemoglobin (HbI and HbIV) and H 2 O 2 using a chemiluminescence assay. Our data show th
The effect of tributyltin chloride (TBTC) on rainbow trout (Salmo irideus) hemoglobin I (HbI) and hemoglobin IV (HbIV) was characterized by the steady-state fluorescence of intrinsic and extrinsic fluorescent probes.
