This paper deals with the electrocatalytic oxidation of propargyl alcohol (PA) at a platinum electrode in aqueous acid medium. During prolonged electrolyzes, the transformation is found to be highly selective towards the production of propargyl aldehyde (PAL). The effects on the selectivity of kinet
