✦ Synopsis
The electrical conductivity of cement-and clinker mineral pastes was measured during setting and hardening.
Conductograms give interesting and structurally important data on the beginning period of cement hydration.
The electrical conductivity of cement-and clinker mineral pastes can be measured easily and reproducibly and gives valuable data.
Only old and partly ambiguous data exist on this field (i), while data on the electrical conductivity of cement suspensions and their filtrates are more recent (2,3).

Effective diffusivities are important in describing corrosion and leaching of contaminants in cementitious systems. An electrical conductivity procedure has been used to measure the effective diffusivities of compounds in cementitious systems containing the additives fly ash, silica fume, sodium sil
Mortars containing volume fractions of aggregate less than 0.35 were prepared at w/c = 0.35, 0.40, and 0.45 and hydrated for 1, 14, and 28 days. Mortar electrical conductivities were determined by impedance spectroscopy, and the experimental data were fitted to the polynomial, where, (I, is the mort
