## Abstract Chemical modification of aromatic polyphenyl ethers by silylation (trimethylsilyl, dimethylphenylsilyl, methyldiphenylsilyl and siloxanyl groups), has been investigated and shown to give products with improved low‐temperature fluidity without change of thermal stability.
