The effect is explained with the increasing numhrr of Zn-ions on &sites and Fr the spinrl lattice a t high temperatures. Brcausr of the small cation vacancy concrntration a t these partial oxygen pressures. the Zn-ions on B-sites canriot return on the A-sites during cooling and the CCRIE point is shifted to higher temperatures.
The CURIE point shift can be used to determine the stoichiometrir state of Mn-Zn-Fefrrrites. if the desaccommodation method and the drtermination of thr active oxygen cannot be usrd.
