Malouf Sr., MD, of Prince George's County, MD, and Hunter R. Stokes Sr., MD, of Florence, S.C. were named guests of honor; Stephen J. Ryan of Los Angeles, CA and Providence, RI, was presented with the Distinguished Service Award; Danièle Aron Rosa, MD, J. Donald Gass, MD, and Marshall M. Parks, MD, were presented with the Laureate Recognition Award; and George O. Waring, MD, FACS, FRCOphth, received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Bausch & Lomb Visionary Award
