We report the room temperature continuous wave Ho:YAP laser double-pass pumped by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser. Continuous wave output power of 10.2 W at 2118 nm was obtained under the incident pump power of 19.4 W, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 64.0% and a conversion efficiency of 52.6%. Th

We present the room temperature continuous wave Ho:LSO laser double-pass pumped by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser. Continuous wave output power of 3.5 W at 2105 nm with linewidth of 2.3 nm was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 13.9 W, corresponding to a conversion efficiency of 25.2% and a slop

We report on room-temperature laser actions of a novel thulium-doped crystal Tm:Lu2SiO5 (LSO) under diode pumping. An optical-optical conversion efficiency of 12% and a slope efficiency of 21% were obtained with the maximum continuous-wave (CW) output power of 0.67 W. The emission wavelengths of Tm:

## Abstract An Yb‐doped Sc~2~O~3~ crystal grown by the heat exchanger method provided extremely high pump (62.2%) and slope (72.7%) efficiencies in a continuous‐wave (cw) laser operating either at 1041.6 or 1094.6 nm depending on the output coupling. Maximum powers of 1.55 and 1.35 W, respectively,
