Various experiments of Lotus corniculatus cv. Leo were infected with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strains C58 (wild-type) and GV3101 (control). A maximum of 83 per cent of cotyledons excised from 7 day old seedlings and 63 per cent of leaves excised from seedlings grown in vitro formed galls in culture
