## Abstract Rat sera were analysed by high resolution two‐dimensional electrophoresis to detect polypeptides sensitive to chemical exposure. Exposure to carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene or dimethylformamide increased the intensity of a polypeptide with electrophoretic characteristics (p__I__
