In this work the conclusions reached in two previous publications on the dynamic strain ageing of polycrystalline u-iron, are confirmed through a study of some solute content and strain rate effects in the so-called jerky-flow region i.e. the lower temperatures of that range over which stress-strain
We present penetration equations for rigid, spherical-nosed rods that penetrate 6061-T651 aluminum targets. The penetration models use the spherical cavity-expansion approximation and constitutive equations for the target that include strain hardening and strain-rate sensitivity. We obtained closed-
