The changes which occur in the electrical conductivity of Saran carbon rods with the adsorption of both polar and non-polar molecules have been measured. No relationship between the polarity of the adsorbed molecule and the electrical conductivity of the adsorbent was found. An attempt has been made

β¦ Synopsis
We study the gas molecule adsorption effects on the electrical conductivity of both zigzag (9, 0) and armchair (5, 5) carbon nanotubes. Using the tight-binding model, Green's function technique and coherent potential approximation, it is found that the adsorption of some gas molecules can cause a change in the electrical conductivity of metallic single-walled carbon nanotubes.

We have theoretically investigated the role of the interfacial arrangement on the transport properties of finite armchair and zigzag single-walled carbon nanotubes attached to various metallic contacts. We have applied the non-equilibrium Green functional formalism with a Tight-Binding and an Extend
## Abstract We report the preparation of an electrically conductive composite composed of collagen and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and its use as a substrate for the __in vitro__ growth of PC12 cells. Morphological observation by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) indicated the homogenous dispersion of
