## Abstract Brewer's yeast preparations influence glucose metabolism in vivo and in isolated tissues. We have studied the effect of a brewer's yeast extract on glucose metabolism and grwoth of rat hepatoma and human embryonic cells. Growth of the rat hepatoma cells was very much stimulated by the e
