✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Sodium butyrate enhances the antiviral and anti‐cellular action of interferon in MSV‐transformed cells but has no such effect in normal cells. The increased sensitivity could be mediated at least partially by the butyrate‐induced elaboration of the microtubule and microfilament network.

## Abstract Recently significant progress has been made in differentiating embryonic stem (ES) cells toward pancreatic cells. However, little is known about the generation and identification of pancreatic progenitor cells from ES cells. Here we explored the influence of sodium butyrate on pancreati

The premise of our study is that selective inhibition of interferon (IFN) by calcineurin inhibitors contribute to the increased severity of hepatitis C virus (HCV) posttransplantation. Therefore, we examined the influence of calcineurin inhibitors in the human hepatocyte cell line on IFN-alpha-induc
