## Abstract The current role of rapeseed meal (RSM) as a source of protein for laying hens is discussed. The advantages of the use of meal from low glucosinolate rapeseed cultivars are emphasised. The effect of the inclusion of RSM in layer rations on egg quality is discussed with special reference
