β¦ Synopsis
The calculation of angular autocorrelation functions and thence lonatudinal relaxation times has been extended to include molecules undergoing anisotropic rotational diffusion with an additional internal motional degree of freedom. Numerical calculations have been performed to study the effects that arc caused by internal mobility. Previous results obtained for axially symmetric molecules, where the axis of rotation is parallel to the molecular symmetry axis, are describedas special cases by our general formula.
