The effect of glucocorticoid (dexamethasone) on insulin receptor mRNA was examined in the IM-9 cell line by dot hybridization analysis using insulin receptor c-DNA probe (phINSR 13-1). Insulin receptor mRNA was found in a dose- and time-dependent manner, to increase during a 24-h culture with glucoc
