✦ Synopsis

An experiment was conducted on 12 Surti buffaloes.These animals were further divided into four groups each having three animals.The four feeding treatments werea) concentratemixturewithgreengrass,b) concentratemixture without green grass, c) cotton seed with green grass and d) cotton seed without green grass. During experimental period, milk yield of each group was found to decrease and fat content was found to increase. The animals receiving green grass supplementation along with the major feed produced more milk and FCM content. Different dietary condition did not show any significant differenceonprotein,casein and nitrogencontents ofmilkofSurti buffaloes.
