Abstract
Electrical conductivity has been measured at different temperatures for ZrO~2~ doped with various molar ratios of CuO. The conductivity increases due to migration of vacancies, created by doping. The conductivity was found to increase with increase in temperature till 220 Β°C and thereafter decrease due to collapse of the fluorite framework. A second rise in conductivity around 500 Β°C was observed due to phase transition of ZrO~2~. Xβray powder diffraction, DTA and IR studies were carried out for confirming doping effect and phase transition in ZrO~2~.

The electrical conductivity of solution-grown poly (2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (PPO) films doped with TCNQ, TCNE, TNF, and I, has been studied as a function of dopant concentration, temperature (298-353 K ) , and field (50-2000 V ) . PPO forms a conductive complex on doping with these strong
Nd 2Γx R x CuO 4 compounds (R Y and Fe and x 0X0 and 0.05) are prepared by the conventional ceramic method. The majority of charge carriers is found to be positive for Nd 2 CuO 4 and negative for substituted compounds. The electrical resistivity decreased with Y-substitution and decreased further wi
Effect of Co-Doping on the Photoluminescence Behavior of Zn 2 SiO 4 :Mn Phosphors. -Co-dopants such as Mg and Cr are incorporated into Zn 2 SiO 4 :Mn phosphors in order to improve the photoluminescence properties. Both dopants have favorable influence on the luminescence: Mg enhances the intensity
The dispersion of sodium nitrate on tetragonal zirconia and the effect of the dispersed sodium species on the textural properties of the support are investigated by using XRD, LRS, DTA, and BET surface area measurement. The results indicate that NaNO3 can be dispersed on the surface of tetragonal zi
