## EIGIIT FIGURES The African dwarf goat was known to Liiinaeus as Capra reversa and an extensive description was given by Fitzinger (1859) who called it Hircus reversus. Its original home probably was in Guinea and neighboring countries of the West African Coast from where it spread through Centr
