The hfdssbauer quodrupoie interaction Q'o of the Fe '+ ion has been measured with 2% 3i. 57Fe in ZnSiF, \* 6H,O, betwve-n 1.3 and 20Β°K. The sign of tiQ f< O\_) .has been determined by using a single crystal absorber. These results are interpreted in terms of a triponal crystal txld potential that sp
