Twenty years ago, in 1986, the Journal of Orthopaedic Research was only three years old. That year 58 articles were published in four issues of the Journal, for a total of 520 pages. This year, the Journal is published monthly with Wiley as the new publisher. The goals are to publish 230 articles in
