Some new carbamates and N‐substituted barbituric acids with carbamated side chain have been prepared. Several of these substances show interesting pharmacological properties.
## Abstract Homopolymers and copolymers of __N__‐acryloylglycine with acrylic acid and acrylamide were synthetized by radical mechanism using azoisobutyronitrile as initiator in dioxane at 80°C. Moreover, hydrolysis conditions of the ester groups of the diethyl __N__‐acryloyliminodiacetate homopoly
## Abstract __p__‐Vinylbenzyphonic acid was prepared by means of the Arbuzov reaction between triethyl phosphite and __p__‐chloromethylstyrene followed by silylation with bromotrimethylsilane and methanolysis. The product, which is readily cross‐linked, is stabilized as dicyclohexycylammonium salt.
