Abstract

The design of a dual‐frequency planar inverted‐L antenna with a circular‐sided patch is described. The proposed antenna exhibits good dual‐frequency characteristics with the frequency ratio ranging from 1.70 to 1.98. Measured results of the performance of the antenna are presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
