✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel planar‐reconfigurable dipole antenna on ungrounded dielectric slab with parasitic reflector which has dual‐band and steerable endfire pattern characteristics, is proposed. A prototype is fabricated and both simulated and measured results validate the advantages of this antenna. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A multiband slot antenna with two parasitic radiators for GSM900/DCS1900/WiMAX/WLAN wireless communication services is introduced. The proposed antenna is small in size (40 mm × 40 mm × 1.6 mm) and has a simple structure. The bandwidth and resonant frequencies of the antenna are control
A high-gain dual-band antenna for the wireless local area network system is presented in this article. Two symmetrical linear arrays can be dynamically reconfigured that could switch radiation pattern with a switchable feed circuit between direction and omnidirection. The antenna can also be used fo
