✦ Synopsis

A dual-band printed diversity antenna for 2.4/5.2-GHz WLAN operation is proposed. The antenna consists of two orthogonal C-shaped monopoles placed symmetrically with respect to a protruding T-shaped ground plane. Across the two bands, the antenna has two highly decoupled ports and can provide spatial diversity to combat multipath fading.
