## Abstract The theoretical analysis of a notch‐loaded rectangular patch for dual‐band operation, in which dual‐frequency behavior is obtained via notch loading, is proposed and experimentally verified. The theoretical analysis is based on the modal‐expansion cavity model. The resonance frequencies

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
This article introduces a novel dual‐band patch antenna printed on organic magnetic substrate for WLAN communication, operating at 2.45 and 5 GHz. The dual‐band operation is obtained through embedding a pair of L‐shaped slots. The antenna has smaller size for the use of magnetic material, compared with rectangular microstrip antennas on normal dielectric substrate. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A new design of two stacked shorted patch antennas integrated on the same microwave substrate for DCS and WLAN dual‐band operations is presented. The two antennas together occupy a small area of 19×28.5 mm^2^, and the heights for the DCS and WLAN antennas are 10 and 5.2 mm, respectively
## Abstract In this paper, we present a compact dual‐band dual‐polarized aperture‐coupled patch antenna for 1800/5800 MHz DCS/WLAN applications. With properly designed feeding network and patch dimensions, the antenna can provide a pair of orthogonal linear polarization states for dual bands operat
