Abstract
Dualβband ferrite chip antenna having 105 mm^3^ of volume was fabricated with Ba~3~Co~2~Fe~24~O~41~(Co~2~Z)βglass composite and antenna performance was evaluated. The permeability and permittivity of the composite were in the range of 1.92β2.12 and 7.33β7.45, respectively, from 1.575 to 2.45 GHz. Magnetic and dielectric loss tan Ξ΄ of Co~2~Zβglass composite was <3.5% in the 1.5β3.0 GHz range. The 3D average gain and bandwidth of the 40hβshakeβmilled and sintered Co~2~Zβglass composite antenna were β1.27 dB and 355 MHz at 1.575 GHz, β4.08 dB and 270 MHz at 2.45 GHz, respectively. Simulated Sβparameter spectrum is in good agreement with experimental results. Β© 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A novel wideband internal chip antenna for KPCS/IMTβ2000 dualβband applications is investigated experimentally and numerically. It has a wide bandwidth of about 21.4%, measured gain of 2.6 dBi, and an omnidirectional radiation pattern while retaining cost effectiveness and small size. T
## Abstract A miniaturized dualβband printed square quadrifilar helix antenna (QHA) is proposed for global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) receivers applications. The antenna consists of four printed helices forming a cube with a very small size of 1 cm^3^ only. It can cover both L1 and L2 bands
