✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A compact microstrip dual‐band bandpass filter (DBBPF) with controllable bandwidth for each passband is proposed. Each passband is independently designed using two different dual‐mode resonators. The proposed DBBPF has three transmission zeros. Two transmission zeros are generated by each dual‐mode resonator. An additional transmission zero is generated by input/output port coupling. The DBBPF application is designed for 2.4/5.7 GHz WLAN. Experimental measurements are presented to validate the theory. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, a dual‐band bandpass filter is designed by using microstrip stub‐loaded two‐mode resonators. Because the resonant frequencies of the odd‐mode and even‐mode of the stub‐loaded resonator can be varied individually, the midband frequencies of the dual‐bands of filter can b
## Abstract A new dual‐band bandpass filter (BPF) for 2.4/5.2 GHz WLAN systems using two‐stepped impedance resonators is presented. With new properly coupled structure, this filter appears very compact and easy to be fabricated. Measured results show that this BPF has low insertion loss of 0.3 dB a

## Abstract We propose a compact dual band bandpass filter (BPF) using meandering stepped impedance resonators (SIRs). By appropriately selecting the impedance ratio (K) of the SIR, the harmonic frequencies can be tuned for generating the dual‐passband response. Using this structure, the bandwidth
