## Abstract The authors examined the attitudes and reasons of 119 American psychologists, counselors, and clinical social workers who had never sought personal therapy. Nontherapy seekers, compared to therapy seekers, expressed lessβpositive attitudes toward its value as a prerequisite for clinical
