β¦ Synopsis
I have a 6 yr old, and we have looked at lots of different kids books on nature and science. THis one is well organized, informative yet not too heavy on the text, and makes great use of real photos. Parents, and older kids need more details than a younger one can digest - and this book delivers in a concise way. The younger set need clear pictures that actually show what you're reading - and this book delivers again. SOme DK books feel like a disorganized hodgepodge of pics, too light on the info, but not this one. THis is a steal at 7.99, so we will be buying one. Some DK guides are not nearly as well done, so check each one out in person before you buy it.
