## Abstract Palladium(II) acts as a one‐pot catalyst to promote the oxidation of alkynes (I) with atmospheric oxygen as the sole oxidant in a fluorous biphasic system, followed by a cyclization reaction which results in the direct conversion of alkynes into tetrasubstituted furans (II).
