We report a room-temperature diode pumped single frequency Tm:YAP laser. Two uncoated fused silica etalons were used as mode selectors. The maximum single frequency output power was 344 mW at wavelength of 1988 nm. The slope efficiency of single-frequency laser operation was 33% and the optical-to-o

✦ Synopsis
Spectroscopic properties and laser output results of Pr-doped YAlO3 material under 1-W GaN-laser-diode pumping at various resonator arrangement (linear, V-folded, and microchip configuration) are reviewed and compared. Continuous output power of up to 140 mW in the near-infrared spectral range at 747 nm wavelength as well as 45% slope efficiency (with respect to absorbed pump power) and intracavity frequency doubling resulting in 12.3 mW blue emission is reported.

We report for the first time (to our knowledge) a quasi-three-level Nd:Sr3Ga2Ge4O14 (Nd:SGG) laser emitting at 902 nm. An end-pumped Nd:SGG crystal yielded 718 mW of continuous-wave (CW) output power for 17.9 W of incident pump power. Intracavity second-harmonic generation (SHG) in CW mode has also
The continuous-wave (CW) laser properties of an efficient diode-pumped Nd:YAP crystal operating at 1.43 μm formed with a simple plane-concave cavity have been studied. With the incident pump power of 17.8 W, an output power of 2.2 W was obtained, giving an optical conversion efficiency of 12.4% and
In this contribution we report on blue generation of Pr:YAP laser under flash-lamp pumping at room temperature. Stimulated emission at 373.5 nm has been reached by intracavity frequency doubling of the red-emitting Pr:YAP laser operating in Q-switched pulsed regime at a fundamental wavelength of 747
## Abstract ## Background and Objective Diode‐pumped fiber lasers are a compact and an efficient source of high power laser radiation. These laser systems have found wide recognition in the area of lasers as a result of these very practical characteristics and are now becoming important tools for
We have successfully fabricated a new type of ytterbium-doped yttrium gadolinium aluminum garnet (Yb:GdYAG) laser ceramic using the solid-state reactive sintering method under vacuum condition. Continuous wave (CW) laser operation of the 5.0 at.% Yb:GdYAG ceramic laser has achieved 4.27 W output pow
