Efficient and compact blue laser output at 468 nm is generated by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuouswave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:CNGG laser at 935 nm. With 17.8 W of diode pump power and the frequency-doubling crystal BiB3O6 (BiBO), a maximum output power of 490 mW in the blue spectral rang

✦ Synopsis
We report a diode-pumped Nd:YVO 4 laser emitting at 880 nm based on the 4 F 3/2 -4 I 9/2 transition for the first time. A power of 1.13 W at 880 nm has been achieved in continuous-wave operation with a fiber-coupled laser diode emitting 28.6 W at 808 nm. Furthermore, intracavity secondharmonic generation in continuous-wave mode has also been demonstrated with a power of 233 mW at 440 nm by using a BiB 3 O 6 (BiBO) nonlinear crystal. The fluctuation of the blue output power was better than 2.3%. The beam quality M 2 value is 1.2. Output power at 880 nm, W 0.8 0.6 0.4 0.2 0 1.0 1.2 Output power at 440 nm, W 0.30 0.25 0.20 0.

We report for the first time a Nd:GdVO 4 laser operating in a continuous wave (CW) on the quasi-three-level laser at 893 nm, based on the 4 F 3/2 -4 I 9/2 transition, generally used for a 912 nm emission. The use of a pump module with 16 passes through the crystal allowed the realization of a Nd:GdV
We describe the output performances of the 942 nm 4 F 3/2 → 4 I 9/2 transition in Nd:GSAG under diode-laser pumping. An end-pumped Nd:GSAG crystal yielded 3.7 W of continuous-wave output power for 17.8 W of absorbed pump power. The slope efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power was 23.4%.
We report a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser emitting at 899 nm based on the 4 F 3/2 -4 I 9/2 transition. A power of 1.04 W at 899 nm has been achieved in continuous-wave operation with a fiber-coupled laser diode emitting 19.2 W at 809 nm. Furthermore, intracavity second-harmonic generation in continuousw
We present for the first time a Nd:YVO 4 laser at 1085 nm intracavity pumped at 914 nm by a Nd:YVO4 laser. We obtained intracavity powers of 57 W at 914 nm and 62 W at 1085 nm. Using type-I critical phase-matching LiB 3 O 5 (LBO) crystal, a cyan laser at 496 nm is obtained by 914 and 1085 nm intraca
