✦ Synopsis
The n 3 fundamental band (C-N stretch) and four associated hot bands (01 1 1-01 1 0, 10 0 1-10 0 0, 02 0 1-02 0 0, and 02 2 1-02 2 0) of natural 79/81 Br 12 C 14 N have been recorded and analyzed in the 4.8-mm region using an FTIR spectrometer. Analyses of the same hot bands, previously recorded using a diode laser spectrometer, are also presented for the 13 C and 15 N isotopically labeled species.

The n 1 and n 3 bands of SD / 3 were observed at 5.45 mm with a diode laser spectrometer. The ions were generated in a concentration-modulated, low-temperature, hollow-cathode discharge of deuterium and carbonyl sulfide gases. One hundred and ninety-two lines were measured and assigned to SD / 3 . T
The infrared diode laser spectrum of the n 2 / n 5 0 n 2 hot band of acetylene has been observed within the discharge plasma of acetylene diluted in He. The concentration of acetylene in the n 2 state was modulated by applying a few kHz of ac current, and the spectrum of the hot band was recorded se
The vibration-rotation absorption spectra of the C 3 S molecule were studied using a tunable infrared diode laser spectrometer. The n 1 fundamental and n 1 / n 5 0 n 5 hot bands were measured between 2046 and 2067 cm 01 . The C 3 S molecule was produced by a glow discharge in a flowing mixture of CS
