Abstract
The weightโloss method was employed to determine the diffusion coeffcients of mercury in Ag~2~Hg~3~ alloy at temperatures in the range of 64โ120ยฐC. Diffusion coeffcients for nonhomogeneous specimens obey the relationship:
Diffusion coeffcients for nonhomogeneous samples were found to be an order of magnitude greater than values found for homogeneous samples.
