Abstract
Two infants with von Recklinghausen's disease developed signs and symptoms of the diencephalic syndrome. Pathological examination confirmed the presence of hypothalamic tumors in both. The concurrence of these two entities, although previously unreported, is not unexpected given the incidence of intracranial tumor in von Recklinghausen's disease and the dinecephalic syndrome.
