## Abstract Four crystalline vitamin A~2~ isomers, __i.e.__ all‐__trans__, 13‐__cis__, 9‐__cis__, and 9,13‐di‐__cis__, as well as the corresponding acids and aldehydes, have been prepared from __cis__‐ and __trans__‐dehydro‐β‐ionylideneacetaldehyde.
