## Abstract Durch Einwirkung von Paraformaldehyd und Chlorwasserstoff auf einige 4‐Alkoxyacetophenone wurden 2‐Alkoxy‐5‐acetyl‐benzylchloride glatt gewonnen. Aus letzteren konnten durch Umsetzungen die entsprechenden Aldehyde, Cyanide, Acetamide und Karbonsäuren erhalten werden.
