✦ Synopsis

Phe2-Oms-vasopressin and Yhe2-Orns-oxytocin have been prepared by synthesis. Both analogues, but especially the second one, have a more selective pressor activity than the natural vasopressins and than most hitherto synthesized analogues of these hormones.
