✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [ZnCl~2~(C~18~H~10~N~4~)~2~], the Zn^II^ atom, lying on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis, is six-coordinated in an octahedral geometry by two Cl^−^ ions and four N atoms from two dipyrido[3,2-a:2′3′-c]phenazine ligands. Neighboring molecules interact through π–π contacts, forming a supramolecular structure.

## Abstract A novel polypyridine ligand, dipyrido[3,2‐__a:__2′,3′‐__c__]phenazine‐11‐carboxylic acid methyl ester (=dppz‐11‐CO~2~Me), and its ruthenium(II) complex, [Ru(bpy)~2~(dppz‐11‐CO~2~Me)]^2+^ (**1**), were synthesized and characterized. The binding properties of this complex to calf‐thymus D
In the title compound, [Zn(C~13~H~11~N~4~O~2~)~2~], the Zn atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral manner by pyridyl N atoms, amidrazonate N atoms and carbamoyl O atoms from two tridentate __N__ ^3^-salicyloylpyridine-2-carboxamidrazonate ligands. N—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules to f
