✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, [ZnCl~2~(C~18~H~10~N~4~)~2~], the Zn^II^ atom, lying on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis, is six-coordinated in an octahedral geometry by two Cl^−^ ions and four N atoms from two dipyrido[3,2-a:2′3′-c]phenazine ligands. Neighboring molecules interact through π–π contacts, forming a supramolecular structure.
