โœฆ Synopsis

In this paper, we have developed a novel field-decomposition technique for the point-matching method (PMM). Using this technique, various types of polygonal geometries can be treated by the same field expansion. This is its great advantage, as compared with the previous method. We have discussed the bistatic RCSs and computational accuracy, and shown that the relative errors are less than 10 ฯช8 for selecting the truncation mode numbers given by the convergence tests.
