✦ Synopsis

Abstract

We present a general method for numerical analysis of electrically large electromagnetic‐field problems, which is based on merging diakoptic approach and surface integral‐equation formulations. Compared with the classical approach, the proposed method provides significant reduction of c.p.u. time and storage, preserving high accuracy of results. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents the formulations of the immittance matrices of multiconductor transmission lines. Firstly, the multiple-reflection expressions of the line voltages and currents are reviewed: then, the general expressions of the port impedance and admittance matrices are established. Finally, as

## Abstract In this work, we illustrate the analysis of inhomogeneous quasi‐TEM multiconductor transmission lines in multilayered dielectric media using finite element method. We specifically determine the per unit length of capacitance and the inductance matrices of two circular wires in layer sur

## Abstract This paper presents a theory of multiconductor transmission lines that allows for dealing with possible magnetoelectric couplings between the basic circuit quantities: voltage, current, and the per‐unit‐length charge and flux linkage. The magnetoelectric coupling is accounted for by the
