Abstract
In this work, we illustrate the analysis of inhomogeneous quasiβTEM multiconductor transmission lines in multilayered dielectric media using finite element method. We specifically determine the per unit length of capacitance and the inductance matrices of two circular wires in layer surrounded by two different dielectric layers, three conductors in three different dielectric layers, and four conductors in three different dielectric layers between two grounds. Excellent agreement with results obtained previously by integrated equation method and method of moment is demonstrated. Β© 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
