We describe an efficient method for constructing cyclic polysulfide-containing peptides. The synthesis uses commercially available bis-(tetrabutylammonium) hexasulfide (BTH) and can be performed in aqueous solution. Preliminary structural analyses indicate that varying the number of sulfur atoms aff
